What Every FFXIV Player Should Know

FFXIV is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that lets players explore the world of Hydaelyn. The game offers many different play styles, including multiple jobs on one character, dungeons, raids, crafting, gathering and much more. Having friends is important in any MMORPG, but this is especially true for how to make gil in ffxiv. Having friends can help you churn through the massive amount of content in this game.

1. MMOGAH

MMOGAH is an online gaming platform that provides players with the ability to buy and sell Final Fantasy XIV Gil. The website offers competitive prices and fast delivery. In addition to this, the site also provides players with helpful guides.

The game has a number of different play styles, including multiple jobs on one character, crafting, gathering, PvP, jumping puzzles, and more. It’s important to find a role that fits your play style.

If you’re a fan of action-packed combat, the Summoner class may be right for you. This job summons powerful creatures to aid you in battle. It’s one of the most engaging classes in the game, but it can also be a bit difficult for casual players. FFXIV isn’t like other MMOs, where large chunks of the story can be skipped between expansions. That said, the Main Scenario Quest is still a massive slog to muscle through, even after the most egregious fluff was trimmed.

2. FFXIV News

The world of FFXIV is massive, and there’s a lot to do. Whether you’re a fan of PvP, story quests, fashion, housing or mounts, there’s always something to do. If you want to keep up with the latest FFXIV news, there are several great sources online.

FFXIV’s leveling system isn’t as complex as it seems. One thing that helps is the game’s Armoury Bonus, which gives you 100 percent extra XP on all classes below your highest-level job. The upcoming Dawntrail expansion will give the popular MMORPG a major glow-up. Until then, fans have the recently released 4.55 update to enjoy. It adds a new zone, new quests, PvP updates and one of the hardest dungeons in the game. It also introduces the Blue Mage job.

If you’re serious about making money in FFXIV, it’s worth a little extra cash to get yourself a second Retainer. These NPC allies serve as free storage and a means to sell items to other players on the game’s Market Board. FFXIV lets you sell just 20 pieces of gear at a time, though — not nearly enough to clear out your inventory. Most of the time, it’s more lucrative to sell to a Retainer than to an NPC vendor.

NPC vendors only award a small pittance for most items, wildly undercutting what you can make by selling to other players. That includes a lot of gear, like the Augmented Ironworks armor that comes from certain quests or desynthesizing fish. Plus, it’s often cheaper to just sell the equipment to a Retainer and use the proceeds to buy more. This is especially true for items that can be repaired with Dark Matter, which is astronomically cheaper than repair costs in the game.

4. FFXIV Guides

FFXIV offers plenty of things to do outside of swinging a sword or flinging a spell. Players can craft, gather, and even do some mercenary work. Here are some tips to get you started.

Many of the basic quest icons in FFXIV have simple golden symbols with exclamation marks. These typically comprise fetch quests and the like. However, there’s also a blue quest icon that usually signifies something more interesting. Blue quests range from introducing alternate Jobs, to special deliveries for crafters and gatherers, to bringing in new dungeons.

The one caveat is that blue quests often require the player to turn in Allagan Silver Pieces, which are essentially vendor trash that can only be sold for gil on the Market Board. This can cause the player to overcap, which carries real-world fees. Thankfully, FFXIV will warn the player when turning in a Tribe Quest will do so. But this isn’t always the case for other types of turn-ins.
